There have been many incredible advances in the CPG and food science world, but one of the things that has lagged behind has been the process of matching with a co-man. Many co-mans were still using the antiquated website inquiry form, which may have worked well for them, but was terrible for brands who would have to submit dozens of inquiries before even getting a response. So we decided to reverse the logic, and rather than brands looking for manufacturers, the manufacturers would come to the brands.
- Brands fill out a very thorough intake form, which gives us all the details co-mans might need to decide if they’re interested in learning more about a project. Our team reviews the project to ensure nothing is missing or looks off, and then the project is listed on our marketplace.
- Manufacturers can find projects by either looking on the marketplace and filtering by category, or through curated emails sent out bi-weekly.
- When a co-man is interested in a project, they’ll send a connection request to the brand. Once both sides have approved and signed NDAs, brand and co-man will be connected to review the project.
