Creating a Project on our Marketplace

Before you create your project, we want to give you an overview of what the process will look like, and make sure you have all the information you need ahead of time. During the process, you can save your application and come back to it, but we’ve found that if you get your information set up ahead of time, it makes it much easier.

📈 2. Overview of Process

  1. Gather your material
    1. In the checklist below, we run through all the elements you’ll need to gather. You most likely have all this information in one place or another, but to make this process as seamless as possible, it’s helpful to gather your material ahead of time.
  2. Create your listing and pay the $199 fee
    1. You’ll input all your project info into our guided listing. Each element should be fairly self explanatory, with additional information off to the side, but we also are available by chat and email if you get stuck along the way. At any point, you can save your proposal to finish for later, but it won’t go live until you submit. Once you’ve completed the form, input your payment details and submit!
  3. Hold tight for a few days
    1. Our team will review your project listing to make sure you’re not missing anything, and reach out with any questions we might have. If all looks good, we’ll get your listing live as quickly as possible.
    2. Projects are listed on the marketplace anonymously for all co-mans to see, and are additionally sent out to co-mans who are looking for projects within your production category. This ensures you get the most eyes on your project as quickly as possible. Depending on when you submit your project and the last time that project category was sent out, it will be a maximum of 2 weeks before your category is project is sent to the curated listing. The reason for this is we don’t want to inundate co-mans with project emails, and this time frame seems to work the best. But don’t worry, as long as your project looks good, it will go live within 24 hours.
  4. Respond to co-man connection requests
    1. Manufacturers who are interested in your project will request a

Here is a checklist of the things you will need:

About Us - 2-3 sentences about your company, to give the co-man an idea of who they will be working with
Project Description - 4-5 sentences giving an overview of your project, including; What the product is, where you’re at in the process, shat support you’re looking for from a co-man
Processing requirements
Packaging (if you are flexible on how your product will be packaged, pick what your ideal packaging would be, and in the form note that you are open to alternatives)
SKU Breakdown (a SKU is either a flavor or packaging size)
MSRP (if you aren’t sure, provide an estimate. This does not lock you into anything, just provides insight into what you are looking for)
Volume estimates - for your initial run, as well as annual estimates. We understand these are estimates, but they are critical for finding a co-man in line with what you are looking for.
Timeline to production / launch
Current sales information (if you have it), such as distributors, door count, notable retailers, etc
